The Deal with Power and Voltage We set these to run at 415V. Why? Because in an industrial tri-phase setup, that’s the sweet spot. It lets us hit that 2000W mark without blowing a fuse or drawing too much current. Here’s the thing: if you try to wire this into a lower-voltage circuit, you’re just not going to get the temperature needed for shortwave emission. Plus, that 850mm length is key. It spreads the heat evenly so you don’t end up with those annoying cold spots and uncured patches that ruin a batch. Why Quartz and Halogen?
