Introduction
We built this 225mm halogen heat lamp because sometimes you need serious heat in a seriously tight spot. It’s the kind of tool you reach for when you need predictable, high-output warmth—without a giant footprint. If you’re running industrial heating or drying, this one was made for you.
What makes it tick
Here’s the thing: it’s compact, but it’s not playing around. At 1100W, it comes up fast and throws down steady heat. The 225mm length slips into cramped zones, and the 230V rating lines up with most plant power, so you don’t have to chase transformers. That power-to-size ratio gives you concentrated infrared heat exactly where you need it. But, and this matters, it also means the fixture and reflector have to be up to the job. We built them that way—so the heat stays where you want it, and the hardware can take the pressure.
The guts behind the heat
Halogen tech keeps the filament steady even when the temperature climbs. That means you get consistent output over the life of the lamp—no fading mid-run. The quartz envelope handles the shock of quick on/off cycles, and the internal halogen cycle fights blackening that can rob brightness over time. And the R7s base? It gives you a solid, line-contact connection. So when it’s time to swap, it’s a straightforward drop-in. No fuss, no drama.
Where it shines (and what to watch)
Use it when you need focused, rapid heat—preheating parts, drying coatings, or holding steady temps in small ovens and forming zones. The compact shape makes it easy to fit in, and the high watt density helps you cut cycle time. Just keep in mind: this is concentrated heat. Give it clear space, good ventilation, and shield nearby sensors and wiring. Treat it with respect, and it’ll do the job. Over and over.
