The preforms can’t just warm up slowly; they need a concentrated punch of energy to get them soft enough to mold without accidentally scorching the surface. That’s exactly why we built this lamp. It’s 1062mm long and pushes 3800W of power. It does the heavy lifting so you don’t have to worry about inconsistent heating. Why the 570V? Here’s the thing about industrial setups: long lamp runs can be a nightmare for your wiring. By bumping the voltage up to 570V, we’ve managed to keep the amperage low. Why does that matter? It means your wires don’t get dangerously hot, and you can wire up a whole bank of these lamps without worrying that you’re about to trip a breaker or overload your power supply. You get a smooth, steady thermal profile from one end of the lamp to the other. Simple. The “Secret Sauce” inside We use a quartz envelope filled with halogen gas. It sounds technical, but here is what it actually does for you: it stops the tungsten filament from evaporating too fast. The halogen cycle basically “recycles” the tungsten back onto the filament. A couple of things to keep in mind Because these lamps put out a massive amount of shortwave infrared radiation, you’ve got to keep your reflectors spotless. If your reflectors are dirty or pitted, you’re wasting heat. Even worse, that heat can bounce right back into the lamp and burn it out way before its time. Also, double-check your cooling fans. 3800W generates a lot of heat inside that oven cavity, and you’ll want to make sure your airflow can keep up.
