Technical Deep-Dive
The 380V rating isn’t just a number. Here’s the thing: higher voltage means lower current for the same power, and that changes how you wire things. You end up with smaller conductors, less heat lost in the wiring, and cleaner connections. And at 2000W, this lamp throws serious radiant output—so your process heats up fast and stays stable when you’re running high volume. Plus, the high-voltage setup simplifies distribution. You can spread multiple units across phases without worrying about overloading one low-voltage feed.
Material & Design
Inside, you’ve got a tungsten-halogen filament sealed in a quartz envelope. The halogen cycle does the quiet work of keeping the filament stable, redepositing evaporated tungsten so the lamp stays consistent. No sudden dimming. No quick blackening. It just keeps performing. And the quartz body handles high operating temperatures without flinching, even when the heat comes on hard and fast. We went with an R7s base for a reason: it drops straight into existing fixtures. No adapter plates. No rewiring. Just plug it in and get to work.
