The connectors are where most “budget” lamps fail, but we use precision R7s or Sk15 fits (depending on your machine’s age). It means you can wire them up without wrestling with the sockets. Plus, we offer coated versions. These shift the emission spectrum so the heat actually sinks into the PET preform wall instead of just hitting the surface. It’s a great way to kill those stubborn “cold spots” in the base of your bottles. Keeping things running These are true drop-in replacements. You pull the dead lamp, slide the new one in, and you’re back in business. No drilling. No adapter brackets. Just a clean swap. Since these machines often run 24/7, we obsess over the seal between the electrode and the quartz. If that seal leaks gas, the lamp dies early. Simple as that. One last tip: while you’re in there swapping a lamp, give your reflectors a look. If they’re dirty, you’re throwing away about 20% of your heat.
